Sound Bath: Sound Healing Meditation

Anthony Profeta

Friday August 17, 2018

Join us as meditation teacher, Anthony Profeta, uses the sounds of Crystal Bowls, Himalayan Singing Bowls, and other instruments to create an environment which will wash away your stress, fill you with inner peace and joy, and allow you the opportunity to bring healing to your body, mind and soul. This experience is sure to leave you feeling renewed and rejuvenated.

A "Sound Bath" is a therapeutic form of meditation as it is all about energy, frequency and vibration. The sound vibrations help to shift your brain into a calmer state and allows you the opportunity to experience a deeper meditation which can lead you to profound relaxation and healing. Additionally, according to some traditions, these specific tones are the frequencies at which the bodies 7 Major energy centers (chakras) should be resonating at. And therefore, these vibrations can help to bring the energetic body back into alignment and balance.

If you've never experienced a sound meditation this is an event you will not want to miss.

Come Join Heidi in a Dancing Dragon Yoga CELEBRATION!

Saturday June 30th from 4:00PM - 5:30PM

Dancing Dragon vinyasa is designed and crafted to engender a deep sense of connection; to merge mind and body into a moving meditation. Rooted in the concept of impermanence, this project celebrates change and highlights the transitions in your practice rather than a static asana.

This 90 min experience begins with a 30 min warm up followed by a demo of the sequence for that day. Elements of strength and flexibility can be modified to accommodate all levels. After learning the sequence, everyone is encouraged to listen to the music, go within, feel the breath and body in union and, through repetition, let the vignette become a medium for their own expression.
